The 2007 Chrysler 300 Series is available in five different levels of trim with a choice of four engines. Based on the last generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class, it offers American high style with solid German underpinnings. The chassis offers a combination of smooth ride and reasonable handling.
The 300 can be had for less than $25,000 with a fuel efficient 2.7L V6. The 300 Touring and Limited trims are powered by a 3.5L V6 and carry a little more luxury. The most popular choice seems to be the 300C with its 300-horsepower 5.7L HEMI engine. The muscular 425-horsepower 300C SRT8 rounds out the family, leaving a 300 to match just about any taste.
